Three of these plays came from a series of writers workshops and the other three were written when members of the Serpentine Drama and the Page to Stage groups gathered to stage the three original plays as part of the WordPlay festival.

It was only when we came to appreciate the quality of writing during the rehearsal process that the decision was taken to produce a volume of the plays.
